Can someone put some sense in me. But I was unusual in that I never really wanted to convert my husband I was worried I'd have to divorce him if he turned true Mormon and he didn't need me to believe way he does. But wait a minute. I really enjoy your blog and your humor. If you like your regular fix of alcohol or nicotine, then dating a Mormon probably isn't a good idea. But I believe, doctor or not, a relationship is all about supporting one another and making sacrifices. I am willing to add his religious observances to our worship as a couple and as a family, but should I also be willing to give up some of my participation in my own faith в for example by attending the temple or Sunday services slightly less often in order to spend more time as an entire family. Take your date to a club with loud music and an open bar, or an R-rated or violent movie, and the prospects of it going well are daunting. My faith, while less orthodox, has certainly matured.
