It was then she became the poster girl for Hooters in , a restaurant chain that launched in the US before expanding globally. Being a young girl, I joined this new venture. I actually cleaned the restaurant equipment for five bucks an hour before we opened. Before Austin accepted the job, she was working at a telephone company and modelling on the side. Austin was craving something new. She quit her job with the telephone company and worked at Hooters as a waitress. While Hooters was the ideal spot to savour hot wings and cold beer after unwinding at the local beach, it was the American blond wearing a white tank top and tiny orange shorts who enticed patrons.
