So famous you have to go, feels like your on a Greek Island with no worries. Sure, this is a nudist beach, but the beach is beautiful. Quiet, secluded, with powder white sandy beach. Great place to escape for some peace and quiet. If you into nudity, enjoy. Nice large beach, bit of a walk to get there which keeps it "private", icy crystal clear water. There are no vendors, take your own water etc, and dont forget the sun tan lotion Cape Town Central.

However, Sandy Bay and the Umhlanga Lagoon and Mpenjati beach are beaches where nudity is accepted [5] and bathers are very unlikely to be prosecuted for simply being naked. Mpenjati beach was approved as a naturist beach by the local town council in charge of the area, however the Public Protector ruled that the proper procedures had not been followed in proclaiming Mpenjati as a naturist beach.
